Since our founding in 1996, Suitable has been committed to offering high-quality men’s clothing that is responsibly produced. This ambition comes together in our sustainable clothing line: Suitable Respect. In addition to our own collection, you’ll also find other sustainable men’s clothing brands at Suitable. Here are the most important ones for you at a glance:
Colorful Standard

Sustainable clothing doesn’t have to be boring! Colorful Standard proves time and again that with simple designs and a wide color palette, you can create endless combinations. Thanks to the thoughtful fit, the pieces are also exceptionally comfortable to wear. In addition, the brand donates part of its profits to charitable causes.
KnowledgeCotton Apparel

KnowledgeCotton is a truly sustainable clothing brand. For more than 40 years, they have been using environmentally friendly materials such as organic cotton and recycled polyester. They reduce their CO₂ footprint by using as little water and energy as possible during production. The iconic owl logo perfectly reflects their “world of knowledge” philosophy.
MEYER

MEYER is a European specialist in men’s trousers. With more than 60 years of experience, this German family business knows exactly how to produce them sustainably. Since 2020, they have been completely climate neutral. In addition, their cotton meets the standards of the Fairtrade label, ensuring that you’re buying a responsibly made pair of trousers.
MUD Jeans

MUD Jeans are not your average jeans. They use recycled denim and produce in a fully circular way. With 30 years of experience, they’ve minimized their ecological footprint to the absolute minimum. What makes them extra special: at MUD Jeans, you can even lease a pair of men’s jeans for just ten euros a month! After wearing them, the jeans are recycled again.
VEJA

VEJA is a footwear brand built on innovation and authenticity. They source rubber from the Amazon rainforest and collaborate with workshops in countries such as Peru and Uruguay. By investing less in marketing, they can dedicate more resources to the quality and sustainability of their men’s sneakers.
How can you recognize sustainable clothing brands?
The above is just a selection of the sustainable brands you can find at Suitable. Unsure whether a brand is truly sustainable or simply using clever marketing? Then look for recognized certifications such as the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Fairtrade Cotton, and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Also, always check the label inside the garment. This will show you exactly what it’s made of and why it’s a responsible choice. Keep in mind: organic doesn’t automatically mean fair. It’s worth researching in advance whether a brand also prioritizes fair working conditions and a transparent production process.
