You see it more and more often: a real mancave in the house! A room where the man can retreat completely, surrounded with everything he likes. It’s the perfect place when friends come over to play cards or just to relax and watch soccer together. If you have a space for a mancave and want to decorate it, there is still quite a bit to do. For example, what should absolutely not be missing in your mancave? We’ve made a list for you:
Hallelujah: the bar
No matter your hobbies are or whatever you do: there’s always a drink to go with it. So the bar is naturally the first thing you want in the interior of your mancave. Of course, you can choose how you want to do this. Some opt for a large bar that occupies a central place in the interior, others are content with the bare minimum to serve drinks and prefer to spend the remaining space on other things. You can make the bar with your friends, but you can also order one and even have it installed. In addition to the bar, you obviously also need provide enough seating, such as bar stools, chairs and possibly a sofa.
Men’s must-haves!
Diversity is always good and fun. We recommend a mancave to have television and a game computer. Gaming together and watching sports or other television programs is part of a real men’s night out. Depending on the available space, you can also put other things in it. Here are a few examples: a soccer table, a dartboard, a pool table, Wi-Fi amplifier, an incredibly comfortable couch and let’s not forget a fridge to keep your beer and other drinks cool. Plenty of options and opportunities!
Keep it mysterious
Make sure doors and windows are securely closed to shield yourself from light and noise. Nothing is more annoying than the sun shining on your TV screen, making it hard to see who exactly is scoring. Blackout film on your windows is ideal! It doesn’t only block out the light, you also have a lot more privacy. Always good for things that can’t stand to see the light of day ;-).
