Jeans Size 40 - 34 men's clothing

About jean sizes

Jeans sizes are measured in inches. The first number refers to the waist size 40, which is equivalent to 101.6 cm. The length size is the second number, in this case 34 and is converted 86.4 cm.

How to measure yourself

This can be done easily with a measuring tape. Measure the circumference of your hips, waist and thighs. Make sure you don't forget to measure the length of your inner legs. All measured? You can then consult the size chart for the correct size. In particular, the circumference of your thigh is important when buying a skinny-fit jeans or slim-fit jeans.

What are width sizes

The width size can be found in the first number of the size combination. For a pair of jeans, that is 40/34. A width size is based on a waist size.

What are length sizes

Measuring your length size is easy! Grab a measuring tape and measure from your crotch to the spot where you want the leg of the pants to sit. Consult a size chart to eventually determine your pants length.
